At the 2015 Bryant Dealer rally in Indianapolis, Goodco Mechanical was awarded a Circle of Champions Award by Bryant.
The awards were given out at a ceremony on Thursday evening at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis.
The next day, there was a Bryant Strategy and Best Practices Forum followed by another awards ceremony for the coveted Bryant Dealer of the Year for 2015.
Saturday featured the 500 Festival Parade through downtown Indy with a pre-race hospitality suite hosted by Bryant on the top floor of the Chase Bank Building overlooking the parade route.
The highlight of the weekend was the 99th running of the Indy 500. I must tell you that neither my wife nor I, is (or was) a racing fan, this being our first car race ever. What an unbelievable “bucket list” experience! The race was quite a spectacle. We were sitting in the Paddock area directly across from Pit Row and were able to see all the action, up close and personal. The roar of those cars is like nothing you’ve ever heard and their speed is mind boggling. Our guy, or shall I say Bryant’s-sponsored guy, Tony Kanaan crashed into a turn around lap 150 but even without our guy TK, the race was probably the most exciting sporting event I’ve ever witnessed.
Thank you to Bryant and our good friends at Peirce Phelps, especially Mike Sullivan and Carl Ippolilti for hosting us for the weekend. The Bryant Circle of Champions award was quite an honor for Goodco and we look forward to competing for the Medal of Excellence (awarded to the top 15 Bryant dealers in the country) as well as Bryant Dealer of the Year in the future.
