Effective January 1, 2025, the EPA issued changes to the refrigerant standards for all HVAC equipment. Current refrigerant R-410A is being replaced by R-454B and R-32 for all new equipment. Previous refrigerants will become more expenisve or impossible to find, especially if your system is more than 20 years old.
